Culburra Beach is the town’s main attraction where you can surf, swim, fish or wander along long sandy stretches. This very popular local beach is patrolled during the summer holidays, and families with small children can also find a safe spot for swimming. At the northern end of the beach is Crookhaven Heads, where you can follow a walking trail to see the historic Crookhaven Heads Lighthouse.

Warrain Beach
5 minute walk
Warrain Beach is to the south of Penguin Head and is the home of Culburra Beach Surf Lifesaving Club and is patrolled in peak holiday times. Along the beach is the mouth of Lake Wollumboola, a coastal lake that intermittently opens to the ocean. When water levels are high, it’s used for sailing, wind surfing and water skiing.

Jervis Bay

Jervis Bay is home to two national parks, as well as Jervis Bay Marine Park, a haven for bottlenose dolphins, fur seals, little penguins, sea dragons and migrating whales.
